SUNY Plattsburgh, founded in 1889, is a public college of arts and sciences, business, and professional studies. It is part of the State University of New York system. Its 300-acre campus is located in upstate New York's Champlain Valley, 60 miles from Montreal, Canada, near Lake Placid.
