The mission of Griggs University is to provide educationally sound, values-based, guided independent study and distance education programs that build a foundation for service to God, church, and society. Griggs is part of the Seventh-day Adventist school system. Griggs has partnership arrangements with Columbia Union College, Andrews University, and Oakwood College. Each of these institutions is regionally accredited and awards credit to students.

Hebrew Theological College includes two programs: The Blitstein Institute affords women the opportunity to engage in advanced learning of Jewish culture, heritage, law, and literature, while pursuing a full liberal arts curriculum. The full-time Beis Midrash program offers men the opportunity to study the Torah, Hebrew language, and liberal arts.

Villanova University, founded in 1842, is a private, church-affiliated, comprehensive university. In the Roman Catholic Augustinian tradition, Villanova emphasizes the disciplines of philosophy and theology, seeking to influence the search for world peace and justice. Programs are offered through the Colleges of Commerce and Finance, Engineering, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Nursing. Through academic programs and the pastoral ministry, the university provides for its faculty, students and staff the opportunities for public service to the community. Its 254-acre campus is located in Villanova, 12 miles west of Philadelphia.

Hobe Sound Bible College, established in 1960, is a private Christian college providing Bible-based education in the Wesleyan tradition.

Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary is an institution of higher learning under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Seminary offers a five-year program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.). The seminary is located in New York's Mohawk Valley, near Albany.

Kehilath Yakov Rabbinical Seminary is a private, independent, Jewish college for men. Its campus is located in Brooklyn.
